Renovation of a civil project in Thomasville, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the Contract. After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Project consists of the following major items: Installation of THM Removal Systems at two elevated storage tanks and chemical feed and sampling improvements at the Ramseur Water Treatment Plant. Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned businesses and woman business enterprises.
