Site work, paving and renovation of a civil project in Cullman, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The Project generally consists of the removal and reinstallation of two, refurbished bar screens at the South Interceptor Pump Station with replacement of the wash press assemblies and control panels. Associated items of work include demolition of existing facilities, wastewater flow control, service line extensions, electrical improvements, installation of five, replacement slide gate actuators, paving and coordination of equipment monitoring and final start-up. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially complete in 150 calendar days from the date that the Contract Times commence to run as indicated on the Notice to Proceed. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. In order to Bid on the Project, the Bidder shall possess a valid General Contractor's license for work in the State of Alabama. The Contractors license number shall be clearly indicated on the outside of sealed Bid envelopes. Bidder and its Subcontractors shall comply with all applicable licensing requirements of the Code of Alabama, federal and local Laws or Regulations. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, not to exceed $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and evidence of insurance as prescribed in the Bidding Documents. Bidders are directed to the Instructions to Bidders - Document 00 21 15 and the other Bidding Documents. Information on the applicable federal requirements is contained within the documents. Bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
