Question Deadline: Thu Dec 1, 2022 2:00:00 PM (MST) Duration in months: 18 Through this Request for Proposals, the Town of Okotoks invites Proposals for the supply of consulting Services for the Infrastructure Vulnerability project. Existing infrastructure that the community relies on has not yet been assessed for its vulnerability in a changing climate. The intent of this project is to review and assess the condition and vulnerability of each facility within the Town's portfolio of assets and identify their potential to continue to provide their expected level of service in the face of increased weathering due to the warmer, wetter, and wilder weather patterns that are associated with a changing climate. The facility and infrastructure assessment will help identify the buildings that are in high risk and in need of immediate action, as well as recognize the extent of damage that could result in a long term interruption to service and/or inaccessibility to facility. This project is a part of the Town of Okotoks Climate Action Plan that will establish more resilience within the town infrastructure to provide more robust, safer buildings for the community. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
