Renovation of a municipal facility in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Brampton Works Yard and Maintenance Building, located at 2200 Brampton Street in Hamilton, Ontario, is a standalone building utilized as an in class training facility for the Water Department. The one storey building was built in 1989. The majority of the building interior contains drywall ceilings. The roof deck surface is comprised of a tongue and groove wood plank roof deck system. The City of Hamilton wishes to remove and replace the existing roof system of the Brampton Works Yard and Maintenance Building, with scope including disconnection and reinstatement of mechanical and electrical systems required for the removal and construction to take place. Bidders eligible to submit Bids for this Request for Tenders have been previously selected through the process of a Request for Prequalifications, issued under Contract which closed on August 2, 2022.
