Question Deadline 12/08/2022 03:00:00 PM PT Description of Work: The Project generally involves: 1) Partial Depth Concrete Crown Repair with epoxy coating on the pipelines of 120" Raw Sewage ("RS"), 84" Secondary Effluent, 102" Nitrification Influent and Nitrification Junction Structure, and 84" Primary Effluent; 2) Rehabilitation of 48" Santa Clara Force Main Segment 1 with Cured-In-Place Pipe; 3) Rehabilitation of 48" Santa Clara Force Main Segment 2 and 3 with geopolymer mortar and epoxy coating; 4) Rehabilitation of 96" RS with carbon fiber-reinforced polymer; 5) Installation of Containment Wall at Effluent Junction Structure 1 and Fish Screens; 6) Installation of epoxy coating for the upper 4' of the walls and the ceiling, and containment wall at the access opening, replacement of a 14" pipe penetration, sediment removal and miscellaneous rehabilitation in No. 3 Water Wet Well at Final Influent Pump Station. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified check, a cashier's check or a bidder's bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate amount of the bid. Checks shall be made payable to the order of the City of San Jose. Bonds shall be executed by a surety possessing a valid certificate of authority issued by the California Department of Insurance and shall name the City of San Jose as beneficiary. All bids must be addressed to the Director of Public Works, City of San Jose, shall bear the Project Number and Name and be in a sealed envelope.
