Renovation of an educational facility in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

For Calvin Hall - Relocate DOE from CEF to CALH Ground and 1st Floor The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid. a) Architectural scope consists of remodeling Room 30 within Calvin Hall by removing existing interior partitions and ceilings completely, construction of two recording studios including STC rated walls, ACP ceilings, a lighting grid, curtain and track, and a cyclorama backdrop. It also consists of a private office, a vertical platform lift, and new interior finishes including carpet, base, ACP, and paint. In an adjacent room there is a section of plastic laminate casework/solid surface countertops for a kitchenette. Scope includes misc. signage work and patching/painting in others areas within the building. b) MEP scope consists of reconfigured ductwork and new Fan Coil Units, new lighting and power/data distribution, plumbing fixtures and supply/sanitary lines for the new kitchenette. Scope includes minor electrical work at other areas within the building where furniture systems were removed. c) The project also contains the reconfiguration of an existing IT closet, expanding its footprint with new plywood covered walls, a new door, reconfigured AMAG, and reconfiguration of the existing mechanical and electrical systems to support the expanded footprint.
