The bidders may be required to give references and such other detailed information as will enable the owner to judge responsibility, experience, skill, and financial standing. The bidder must possess work types and perform work equal to at least 30% of the total amount of the submitted bid price. State of Ohio Fund 7031 or 7035 monies are being used to assist construction and that relevant state requirements will apply. Attention is called to the prevailing wage rates to be paid where applicable for labor and public involvement in and for Columbiana County, as ascertained by the U.S. Department of Labor under the mandate of the Davis-Bacon Act and related legislation. Bidder shall comply with, Copeland Anti-Kick Back Act (18 U.S.C. 874) as supplemented in Department of Labor Regulations (29 CFR, Part 3). This Act provides that the contractor is prohibited from inducing, by any means, any person employed in the construction, completion, or repair of public work, to give up any part of the compensation to which he is otherwise entitled. A bidder/contractor will be deemed committed to the goal of such bid conditions by submitting a properly signed bid.
