Village of Leetonia intends to contract for new engineering, surveying, and construction services in connection with the following new projects sidewalk, street, park, storm sewer, water, and sewer improvements. Statements received after this deadline will not be considered. Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firm's history; education and experience of owners and key technical personnel; the technical expertise of the firm's current staff; the firm's experience in designing similar projects within the last five years; availability of staff; the firm's equipment and facilities; references; firm's proximity to the Village; any experience and work history with the Village of Leetonia, however not required, and ODOT pre-qualified. The selected firm will work with OMEGA, who will be overseeing the financing for the projects. The funding obtained will be through various sources, such as, CDBG - NRG, ODOT Tap, ODOT Safe Routes, ODNR, and OPWC. The project includes the acquisition of preparation of preliminary and final design, construction plans and specifications, and bidding and construction phase engineering services including Resident Project Representative for the referenced project. As required by Ohio Revised Code 153.65-71, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the Village of Leetonia will enter contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm(s) for two years, October 2024 through October 2026, with a possibility of extending it another 2 years and thereafter. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
