The City of Palo Alto is soliciting a quotation for maintenance services for a recycled water pipeline system recently installed in the City of Palo Alto. System maintenance will be annual with a three (3) year term contract. The City of Palo Alto owns, operates, and maintains a recycled water pipeline that delivers water to customers in Palo Alto and Mountain View. Water deliveries are about 227 million gallons per year, primarily in summer months. The pipeline is located in Palo Alto at 1. the Palo Alto Regional Water Quality Control Plant; 2. in Embarcadero Way; 3. in Embarcadero Road; 4. in East Bayshore Road; 5. in West Bayshore Road and Colorado Avenue; 6. along creek crossings; and 7. in miscellaneous appurtenant systems at back of curb and customer connections. City intends to issue a General Services contract to establish a pricing agreement for a three-year period for the maintenance of the City's recycled water pipelines and appurtenances. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and transportation required for the delivery of services indicated in the specifications/scope outlined in this RFQ.
