The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to establish a time and materials contract(s) to provide on-call, as-needed HVAC and Gas Fitting services within the Lynchburg District and in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions contained in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). The Contractor shall possess a Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) Contractor's license Class "A" or Class "B" with HVAC, Gas Fitting additional licenses specialty designation. Award will be made on a per Lot basis: Lot 1: City of Lynchburg and Campbell County Lot 2: Pittsylvania, Halifax, and Charlotte Counties Lot 3: Buckingham, Prince Edward, Cumberland, Appomattox, Amherst, and Nelson Counties VDOT may add or remove sites within these lots during the life of this contract. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From date of award through one year (renewable) Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Robert Dowdle at Robert.Dowdle@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM five days prior to the IFB close. The purpose of this conference is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation. Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications/scope of work and requirements of this solicitation, participation at this teleconference will be a prerequisite for submitting a bid. Bids will only be accepted from those bidders who are represented at this prebid conference. No one will be admitted after 10:05 AM EST. Have a copy of the solicitation with you. Any changes resulting from this conference will be issued in a written addendum to the solicitation.
