The Chippawa Creek Conservation Area is located at 74646 Regional Road 45 in the Township of Wainfleet within the Region of Niagara. It is situated on the Welland River and offers 156 campsites and a boat launch into the river. Its granular access roads require speed humps. The Long Beach Conservation Area is located at 12965 Lakeshore Rd in the Township of Wainfleet. It is situated on Lake Erie, Long Beach Conservation Area is one of Niagara's hidden gems. It offers 225 serviced and un-serviced campsites. To ensure our guest's safety, the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority is seeking qualified contractors to install speed humps within each of the Campground's internal roads. The NPCA has a budget of $100,000. The number of speed humps at each location will be determined by the cost per speed hump. An equal amount of speed humps will be installed at each location. The location of the speed humps will be determined by NPCA Park Managers. Scope of Work: - Contractor to install speed Humps at Long Beach Conservation Area and Chippawa Creek Conservation Area - 10ft of asphalt on each side of the hump keyed into gravel (keyed in for snow plowing) - 4 Meter humps in length - 4-6 Inch in height for hump - The number of speed humps at each location will be determined by the cost per speed hump.
