Bridge Construction (April 1, 2024 to November 25, 2024) - Mobilization - Tree removal, clearing and grubbing - Install waterway protection systems and cofferdams - Remove existing bridge superstructure and top portions of the existing substructure - Install cofferdam and sediment control systems - Place rip-rap - Excavate for new bridge - Install deep foundations - Construct abutments and wingwalls - Backfilling and grading including filling between new and existing abutments - Supply and install new bridge steel girders - Form and pour concrete deck - Remove asphalt on approach roadways - Construct Reinforced Earth retaining walls - Place concrete for parapet walls - Place concrete for sleeper slabs and approach slabs - Install utility ducts - Place concrete for curbs, gutters, and outlets - Waterproof bridge deck - Asphalt pave bridge and approach roadways - Supply and install steel beam guide rails and end treatments. - Site restoration and landscaping - Demobilization Documents can be obtained at https://niagararegion.bidsandtenders.ca/ Question Deadline: Mon Jan 15, 2024 12:00:00 PM (EST)
