The Surety Company shall be approved by the United State Treasury Department, licensed by the state of Kansas, and approved for bonding the amount required for the project. The Bidder shall furnish bonds covering the faithful performance of the contract and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Bonds shall be included with the signed contracts. c. The Owner intends to award the work upon review and approval of the bids received. The successful contractor will be given ten (10) days after notification of the contract award to return the signed contracts with the required bonds and insurance certificates attached thereto.
