Reference number : 1654737 Review Title : Supply of firewood - Parc national d'Oka Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in a single submission document The duration of the contract is two (2) years, starting on December 1 , 2022 and ending no later than November 30, 2024, without the possibility of renewal. In general, Firewood will be supplied between May and October. In order to simplify supply operations and facilitate transport within the Establishment, the Firewood must be offered tied up at the Supplier's expense inside the existing lumber yard. For the purposes hereof, a cord of Firewood is a stack of logs measuring 120 cm (approximately 4 ft) high by 240 cm (approximately 8 ft) long. Firewood should be split into quarters no more than 15 cm (about 6 in.) wide. The length of the quarters may vary between 30 and 33 cm (about 12 and 13 in). The Firewood must be dry and contain a maximum of twenty percent (20%) of humidity. Firewood must not come from regions regulated with respect to invasive species, including the emerald ash borer. Firewood must be delivered to the Park Community Center. The capacity of the places is 20 cords. The Supplier must also provide a container-type shelter with corded wood for overflows during the weekend. Approximately 600 cords of Firewood are required per season. Sépaq reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities required.
