Site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Constantine, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

A. The work consists of improvements to the Village of Constantine Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF). B. Major Work items include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Demolition of existing low lift station, grit and screening structure, primary clarifiers, chemical storage structure, existing chemical building, and miscellaneous site structures. 2. Demolition of select site piping and manholes. 3. Demolition of existing process equipment. 4. Rehabilitation of existing administration building and tanks. 5. Construction of a new influent pump station and metering structure. 6. Construction of a new headworks building with screening, grit removal, and ancillary equipment. 7. Provide new mixed bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) system within the existing aeration basins, related blowers, and ancillary equipment. 8. Provide new secondary clarifier equipment. 9. Construction of flow splitting structures for the MBBR and secondary clarifiers. 10. Construction of new ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system and effluent metering. 11. Provide new plant effluent sewer and construction of new outfall structure. 12. Provide new sludge pumping, aerobic digestion, and biosolids thickening equipment. 13. Provide new biosolids storage tank cover and biosolids loading station. 14. Construction of new bulk chemical storage tank structure and provide new chemical feed equipment. 15. Provide all related site piping, electrical, controls, and associated items. 16. Provide site fencing, seeding, and all site restoration. 17. Coordination with power utility company and Owner for the removal of power poles and relocation of power feeds underground to the High Lift Station and to the Treatment Facility. Demolition of existing structures, buildings, piping, and equipment. Construction of a new triplex influent pump station, new headworks building with screening and grit removal, a new MBBR biological treatment system, rehabilitation of the existing clarifiers, lab building, and digesters. Implementation of a new ultraviolet disinfection system with new effluent outfall. The project also includes solids handling upgrades, pumps, piping, and valves, chemical feed systems, electrical and instrumentation, SCADA, painting, site improvements, site fencing, and all related work.
