A. The work includes all removal, storage, transportation, and disposal of all asbestos-containing materials (ACM), asbestos-containing construction materials (ACCM), and/or asbestos contaminated building materials, articles, and items as specified, shown or reasonably implied in the contract documents or discovered during work activities. The contractor is to review all contract documents and reports, and field verify quantities and locations of asbestos related work. Asbestos related work includes, but is not limited to, all selective demolition, debris clean-up, soft demolition of porous items such as carpeting, and soil clean-up in the crawlspace and surrounding exterior areas contaminated by asbestos-containing debris. The purpose of the Project is to safely demolish the building containing lead and asbestos, remove and clean-up lead and asbestos-containing/contaminated materials and related debris, and properly transport and dispose the waste materials.
