Project site is located along Bidwell Street between Thompson Avenue and Butler Avenue in the City of West St. Paul. No prebid meeting will be held for this project. Paving - Concrete, Pavement - Marking, Pedestrian Improvements, Concrete Walkway, Concrete Pavement, Sawcutting/Sidewalk/Pavement, ADA Curb Ramps, Traffic Control, Curbs, Signage, Erosion Control - Temporary Approximate quantities of major items of work are as follows: Clearing and Grubbing: 24 EA Pavement Sawing: 4,200 LF Remove Curb and Gutter: 3,600 LF Remove Driveway Pavement: 3,700 SY Common Excavation: 1,750 CY Aggregate Base Class 5: 1,000 TON Bituminous Pavement: 400 TON Concrete Walk: 19,500 SF Storm Sewer Pipe (15" - 24"): 150 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter: 3,600 LF Concrete Driveway Pavement: 450 SY Salvage and Install Chain Link Fence: 250 LF Sodding Type Lawn: 3,500 SY Deciduous Tree 2" Cal B&B: 21 EA The City of West St. Paul does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or disability in employment or the provision of services. A minimum goal of 17.5% Good Faith Effort to be subcontracted to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.The bid bonds must be payable to the City of West St. Paul in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the vbid, to be forfeited as liquidate damages in the event that the vbid is accepted and the bidder fails to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bonds.
