The scope of work encompassed by the bid shall include all costs regarding removal, including but not limited to: furnishing containers (2 each - an empty to be placed at the time of pickup of the full one), furnishing liners, fees for disposal at a certified landfill and costs of transportation to a landfill. The annual estimated volume is 500 to 700 wet tons. The bidder must be capable of responding within 24 hours to a request for removal of biosolids. All bids shall be presented on a price "per ton". The price shall include all costs, and no add-on fees or costs will be allowed. removal of partially dried municipal biosolids on an ongoing basis for the period ending on December 31, 2023 The bidders must provide proof of insurance naming the Mount Carmel Municipal Authority as an additional insured providing minimum coverages as follows: workmen's compensation at statutory limits, general liability coverage of at least $1,000,000.00, and vehicle liability coverage of at least $50,000.00. Interested bidders shall place a SEALED BID with the Mount Carmel Municipal Authority, 50 West Third Street, Mount Carmel, PA 17851, in an envelope marked: SEALED BID FOR REMOVAL OF PARTIALLY DRIED MUNICIPAL BIOSOLIDS The Municipal Authority reserved the right to accept or reject any bids or parts thereof and to waive any informality in the bids.
