The Housing Development Corporation of Northumberland County (HDCNC) will receive sealed bids from bona-fide bidders for a SINGLE Prime Contract with a General Contractor for the new 5-unit senior/veteran housing building located at the corner of North Maple and Pennsylvania Avenue in Mount Carmel Township, Pennsylvania. Bids are expected to be awarded by the Housing Development Corporation of Northumberland County, a 501 (c) 3 private non-profit, within 2-3 weeks of the bid opening. Prime bidders must submit documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of employment opportunities as well as contract solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid. Bidders must also submit documentary evidence of Section 3 business concerns who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted with the bid. Work under this Contract IS subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (1961 August 15, PL 987, P.S. 165) and subsequent amendments.
