Renovation of an educational facility in Chesapeake, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 30,690-square-foot educational facility.
The project is generally comprised of a replacement of existing mechanical equipment at the Regional Automotive Center (RAC), a 30,690 sf technical education center built in 2008. The scope includes new rooftop units, modification to existing exhaust systems and fans, DDC controls revisions and upgrades, natural gas system upgrades, roofing modifications, roof equipment screen walls, and electrical systems modifications. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
