Renovation and addition to a fitness / recreation center in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 68,936-square-foot, two-story above grade fitness / recreation center; and for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
Acting as the Construction Manager for the City of Surrey (the City), Scott Construction Management Ltd. (Scott Construction) invites select trades to submit Pre-Qualification statements for the Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre Expansion project. The Work of the Contract includes Tenant Improvements to the existing Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre, and the construction of an extension to the facility. The extension will include facilities such as a new underground parking facility, a gymnasium, and other community services and amenities. The Work will be completed in two phases with the Tenant Improvement works to be completed before the construction of the extension. TIMELINE: Qualification for Tender Package B for various trades has closed at the Construction Manager. Awarded trades will not be released for publication. Phased construction is anticipated to commence in summer 2023 and take 20-24 months to complete.
