Scope A. Contract No. FDC-113-3023.1 - General Construction 1. This contract shall include all general construction work complete as depicted and defined on the contract drawings and as specified in these contract specifications. Main items of work consist essentially of, but are not limited to the following: a. Labor, materials and equipment required to perform the work. b. Installation of Doors and Windows in as shown on the contract documents. c. Concrete and steel reinforcing work for foundation at new addition including column and support for new roof structures as shown on the contract documents. d. Installation of new ceilings in new structures as shown on the contract documents in support of other contracts. e. Contractor will be responsible for all excavation and backfill for ALL electrical trenching (including locations where there are no water lines), including any stone or sand for bedding handholes/conduit and concrete encasement at locations shown on electrical drawings. f. Demolition and removal of underground utilities. g. Structural work as shown on drawings. h. Construction of asphalt and stone paved parking areas and walking paths. i. All work in Specification 2 through 12 as it pertains to your work and further defined on Structural (S) Series drawings and Architectural (A) Series drawings and as noted as by General Contractor on all other drawing. j. Removal and legal disposal of existing paving materials to be removed. k. Removal and legal disposal of rock and unsuitable soils as may be required to perform the work. l. Supply and installation of new paving materials as described in the contract documents. m. All work in specification 31 through 46 as it pertains to your work and further defined on the civil (C) Series drawings and the Landscape (L) series drawings and as noted as by General construction work on all other drawings. n. Cutting and Patching for all contracts, unless otherwise noted. o. Final cleaning. Work included under this contract consists of all Mechanical construction work as indicated on the Contract Drawings. Engineer's Estimate: $50,000 - $100,000 SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATION AND SMALL DIVERSE BUSINESS MPLS: Responsive bidders must hold a current small business certification from PA Department of General Services (DGS). Failure to meet this requirement may be cause for rejection.
