The City of Pendleton invites proposals for Abatement and Cleanup Services within the City of Pendleton. The successful proposer will be expected to work independently on cleanup jobs after being given direction by the Pendleton Police Department. Proposer will be expected to coordinate with Pendleton Sanitary Service for delivery and pickup of dumpsters at work sites, or for hauling of refuse directly to the transfer station. Proposer will be expected to work in a safe manner and provide training and PPE to their employees, including the correct disposal of biohazardous materials and sharps. Abatement work may include but not limited to: Cleanup of nuisance properties identified to be in violation of City Ordinances. Weed cutting and removal oTree and brush trimming and removal of associated debris Garbage collection and removal Graffiti removal/covering Encampment work may include but not limited to: Cleanup of unauthorized encampments on private and/or public property Garbage collection and removal Graffiti removal/covering City will provide: Direction to sites to be cleaned Staff support for dealing with tenants City will pay for dumpsters and/or disposal of waste The tentative schedule for this work is: Jan - June 2023 Instructions to Proposers Proposers will be required to have a City of Pendleton Business License and Insurance. Companies will need to have their employees trained in Hazard Identification and provide proper PPE for the work to be done safely. Work will be coordinated through the Pendleton Police Department. The City will review all Proposals based upon meeting the city's needs both in cost and content. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, to postpone the award of a Contract for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, and to accept that Proposal which is to the best interest of the City of Pendleton, Oregon.
