Contractors to build new perimeter security fencing with sliding vehicular gates, man gates, motion sensors, and entry kiosks. Conduit lines/trenches to be installed to all gate locations. Fencing - refer to Exhibit #4 for all specifications: 1.01 Install 8' height metal security fencing. 3/4 " sq. metal tube vertical bars at 4" o. c. with min. 2 coats ea. primed and painted black finish (588 lin. ft.). 1.02 Install 4" sq. metal tube end posts with caps at all gates and corner locations. All posts to be primed and painted with min. 2 coats black finish. All posts to have concrete footings (36 no.). 1.03 Install 3" sq. metal tube center posts with caps at all intermediate locations. All posts to be primed and painted with min. 2 coats black finish. All posts to have concrete footings (43 no.). 1.04 Install 16' width sliding gates with 3/4 " sq. metal tube vertical bars at 4" o. c., painted, and primed with min. 2 coats black finish to match fencing (total 4 no. - 2 no. at South Mill and 2 no. at South 10th Street). 1.05 Install 10' width swing gate with lock by 8' height with 3/4 " sq. metal tube vertical bars at 4" o. c., painted, and primed with min. 2 coats black finish to match fencing (1 no. - on South Mill for temporary generator storage). 1.06 Install 3' wide by 8' height man gates with 3/4 " sq. metal tube vertical bars at 4" o. c., painted, and primed with min. 2 coats black finish to match fencing (total 5 no. - 1 on South Mill, 2 on South 10th and 2 on East Ventura Street). 1.07 Install concrete footings 15" x 15" x 30" at each post (4,444 cu ft.). 1.08 Install entrance kiosks (2 no.), and 1 no. (one) concrete pad (8 sq. ft. ) w/concrete filled 4" dia. bollards (4 no. at each kiosk location). 1.09 Install entry and exit motion sensor loops (4 no.), to be located at the Mill Street parking lot entrance, Mill Street parking lot exit, 10th Street exit, and 10th Street entry/exit location South of the Police Station. 1.10 Install commercial grade sliding gate operator motors at each sliding gate location (4 no.). Each unit to be cable of continuous use, with at least 100-150 min. trips per day. 1.11 Install standard magnetic key pads at each gate, sliding and man gates (total 10 no.). Note: entire security badge system to be installed at a later date, and under a separate RFB. 2. Electrical - to be provided by others under separate RFB and coordinated with Electrical Contractor. Electrical power to be provided within five feet of each gate opener. 3. Security Systems - exact security system to be installed by others and coordination with Security System provider required.
