Bids will only be accepted from General Contractors who have already been pre-qualified to bid for this project as per RPQ No. PQ2206 Pre-Qualification General Contractors Library Makerspace. Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to: - Demolition of non-rated and fire-rated steel doors and screens and associated hardware and glazing, interior finishes, fitments and fixtures including millwork, counters, wall mounted display boards, non-load bearing masonry partitions, ceiling and floor finishes complete while the remainder of the facility is occupied. - Demolition of existing mechanical and electrical services to suit the new floor layout including demolition of grilles, ductwork, sprinklers, sinks, faucets and associated plumbing and partial radiator demolition. - Installation of new non-load bearing steel stud framed gypsum board finished interior partitions, rated and non-rated doors and associated hardware, glazed aluminium framed screens, glazed hollow metal doors, glazed screens and interior window. -Installation of new finishes (floor, wall, ceiling) and built-in millwork. - New electrical work including new electrical supply, devices, and light fixtures. - New mechanical work including linear supply air diffusers, return air grilles, new wall mounted heating unit and direct rooftop exhaust. - Minor relocation of sprinklers to suit new layout.
