Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Demolition and removal of existing steel beam bridge, site preparation and installation of concrete box culvert, stream bank stabilization, restoration of existing roadway at approaches, guiderail installation and general vegetative restoration. The work is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project exhibits. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages.
