The City seeks qualified consultants to provide technical outdoor lighting review and reporting associated with Lighting Permits or related construction permits required through the standards of the Issaquah Municipal Code (IMC) Title 18. It is the firms responsibility to develop and provide qualifications for the work as described. The firm will need to extrapolate from this scope additional tasks and actions needed to reach the desired services. The following scope includes, but are not limited to: Provide on-call lighting review and reporting to the City, regarding compliance of design elements associated with outdoor lighting for structures and outdoor areas. Provide comments or corrections in the form of review letters and marked up plans to City staff, identifying corrections or compliance required in accordance with IMC 18 outdoor lighting standards. Deadline for questions: Monday, November 28, 2022 Submitted electronically by 3 pm City response to questions: Wednesday, November 30, 2022 Anticipated Contract Start: Tuesday, January 3, 2023 The RFQ Project Manager is Christian Geitz, City of Issaquah Planning Manager. Proposal Format: Please limit proposals to no more than fifteen (15) single-sided pages of 8.5 x 11-inch paper with a minimum of 1/2 margins (minimum 11 pt. font size). Printing an 8 1/2 x 11 on both sides counts as two (2) pages. Cover pages are discouraged. If they are included, they will be counted in the proposal page total. Inclusion of tables, charts, and figures are encouraged. Provide one (1) electronic pdf copy of the document to the RFQ Project Manager listed above. The introductory letter does not count in the proposal page total The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel this RFQ, issue a new RFQ, reject any or all Submittals, seek or obtain data from any source that has the potential to improve the understanding and evaluation of the responses to this RFQ, seek and receive clarifications on a Submittal and waive any deficiencies, irregularities or technicalities in considering and evaluating the Submittals. This RFQ does not commit the City to enter into a contract or proceed with the procurement of services. The City assumes no obligations, responsibilities and liabilities, fiscal or otherwise, to reimburse all or part of the costs incurred by the parties responding to this RFQ.
