Renovation of a municipal facility in Norman, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 11,500-square-foot municipal facility.

G.E. Johnson Construction Company, Inc., will be constructing the Alan J. Couch Center Renovations - Phase II, which includes renovating current detention spaces into multi-purpose room, classrooms, and new administration spaces. The drawings indicate a renovation area of +/- 11,500 square feet. Notice to ALL Bidders: Please be advised that this project is subject to the Rules under the venue of Oklahoma State Statute Title 61 (Section 580) for the Construction Management Contract delivery method (see also House Bill No. 2889 and Senate Bill No. 1172). Due to the nature of this project, the required fabrication and delivery of critical materials shall be included in the scope summaries. Multiple crews working in all areas of the project may be required and are to be reflected in your bids. Failure to conduct a thorough site inspection to completely familiarize yourself with the scope of work will NOT relieve any Bidder from their responsibility to provide a complete and comprehensive bid proposal. Successful bidders will be required to meet insurance requirements provided and include pricing for use of Textura billing for this project. All bids are to be sealed and CLEARLY labeled by providing the date, contractor name, project name, and indicating the contract scope being bid on the envelope. Items required to be included in the sealed bid envelope include: Bid Proposal Form and Bid Proposal Unit Prices Form, a Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid (bid bond or cashier's check) if bid exceeds $50K, Payment and Performance Bond Rate listed on bid form, initialed Specific Trade Requirements, signed Affidavit of Nondiscrimination/Nonsegregated Facilities, signed Statement of Non-Collusion, signed Business Relationship Affidavit, signed Asbestos Prohibition for Public Works Projects forms, signed/completed Subcontractor/Vendor Insurance Requirements and Compliance Statement and the sealed proposal of each bidder. Bids received after the bid submission time will not be accepted. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of bid opening stated above. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
