Renovation of a municipal facility in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Renovation of Commercial Building located downtown Fort McMurray, on the corner of Biggs Ave and Main St. The building has had a long and storied past in Fort McMurray, from Restaurants to Retail, and has had multiple additions put on to it over the years (at least 5). Total square footage of the space is 5523 sq ft. The Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo Economic Development & Tourism Corporation (FMWDED&T) intends to move into the premises in 2023. North Sage Design Co. (NSD) will be handling the management of this project. Akron Engineering is Consulting on any MEP and Structural advisement. The building will need to be brought up to new and consistent standards throughout the space. A few walls will be demolished, flooring leveled and upgraded throughout, and several new divisions of the space will create new offices, with an increased HVAC design. There will be new Electrical and Lighting throughout, and additional Plumbing. There will be new paint throughout.
