Work for this project is packaged into One Schedule of Work. The associated bids are described as follows: The Base Bid packages scope of work includes construction of Runway 18 Extension including: grading, installation of reinforced concrete pipe and end sections, HMA paving, electrical edge lighting and the relocation of Runway 18 PAPI. Details associated with the aforementioned project are more specifically set out in the plans and specifications. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Daviess County Board of Aviation Commissioners or a satisfactory bid bond, executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. (1) The Bidder (Proposer) must supply all the information required by the bid on proposal forms. (2) The bids shall be based upon rates of wages at least as high as the minimum rates established by the wage rate determination and included in these contract documents. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 2.9% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% No Bidder may withdraw its bid after the bid has been opened. The Daviess County Board of Aviation Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding and to reject any and all bids.
