From vendors/chemical manufacturers for: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF WATER PURIFICATION CHEMICALS FOR THE CITY OF NEWARK'S WATER TREATMENT PLANT CONTRACT NUMBER # 12-WS2022 Bids must be prepared and submitted using the standard Proposal Form that is provided in the bid document package. Each bidder shall submit one (1) original of their proposal, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name of the bidder and clearly marked Supply and Delivery of Water Purification Chemicals for the City of Newark's Water Treatment Plant -Contract # 12-WS2022. Facsimile transmissions (faxes) will not be accepted. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, made payable to the order of the City of Newark. The guarantee of the successful bidder will be returned upon execution of the contract. All guarantees of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon award of contract to the successful bidder. INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED EXACTLY OR THE BID MAY BE DECLARED NON-RESPONSIVE. The right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in any bid is reserved if such an action is not detrimental to the interest of the City of Newark. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. (P.L. 1975, c.127) and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et seq., concerning affirmative action, and any amendment thereto, and P.L. 1977, c. 33, which refers to the statement of corporation ownership.
