The City of Port St. Lucie desires to obtain quotations from qualified individuals, firms, and legal entities relative to Mechanical Integrity Testing (MIT) of Southport & Westport Deep Injection Wells for the City of Port Saint Lucie. It is the intent of the City to enter into a lump sum contract with one (1) qualified Water Well Contractor licensed in the State of Florida to provide all supplies, labor, permits, materials, equipment, machinery, tools, transportation, and other incidentals required for Mechanical Integrity Testing (MIT) of Southport & Westport Deep Injection Wells. All work shall be in accordance with the Contract documents. As specified in Rule 62-528, Florida Administrative Code (FAC), a Class I injection well must demonstrate mechanical integrity every 5 years. The most recent casing pressure test for injection well IW-1 was last completed on March 13,2018. Therefore, the next mechanical integrity testing (MIT) must be completed on or before March 13, 2023. Bid Bond 5% The City of Port St. Lucie reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities, to negotiate with any qualified Proposers, and to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal as it may deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City.
