The City of Pomona ("City") maintains and operates over a 130 Cla-Valve automatic control valves ("Valves") and repairs or replaces an estimated volume of 30 automatic control valves per year. The City desires to establish a three year agreement for the service, repair and replacement of these Valves for the City's water system. The City is seeking bids from qualified companies to provide this service, in accordance with the Scope of Service or Specifications stated herein. Bidder must have a valid California State Contractors License with a classification of "C61-Limited Specialty and or D64-Non Specialized" to perform valve repairs. Addenda notices will only be emailed to Bidders that have registered as a Prospective Bidder through website; the City will make no other means of contact. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check PlanetBids to determine if any addenda have been posted prior to the due date and time, and acknowledge the addenda within website. License Requirements C61/D64 Per Section 2-971(2) of the Pomona City Code, any unauthorized contact by the Bidder during the bid process with an official or city employee, other than those shown on the bid, the Finance Director or Purchasing Manager, shall cause the Bidder to be immediately disqualified from participating in the bidding process.
