As of December 8, 2025, an engineer has been selected, and the project is in the design phase. It is not expected to be advertised until late 2025, and a confirmed advertisement date is unknown at this time. Once the project is advertised, construction is anticipated to begin approximately 6–8 months later. The project is included in the County's 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
