Reference Number 0000237161 Source ID PP.CO.MB.557691.C74918 Purchase Type One Time Only- Delivery Date:2023/03/31 Bid Intent Not Available Question Acceptance Deadline 2022/12/08 04:00:00 PM CST The Work includes all supervision, labour, materials, (including fuel), plant, tools, equipment (and its maintenance), as required for the complete mechanical clearing (including hand cutting) of designated areas of brush under transmission lines, as well as crating winter road on existing bypass trails up to structure 215 on K22W. The Work is to be completed with appropriately sized equipment c/w wide pad tracks and a KG blades (or equivalent). Hand cutters will be required to cut around structures, guy wires and rock ridges. Descriptions of the Work are provided as a general overview. Detailed Purchaser's Requirements are provided as follows and herein: ITEM 1: Mechanical brushing Mechanical brushing of re-growth of transmission line K21W and K22W Clearing to be done between structures 161 to 255. There are approximately 94 spans in total (all spans are based on K22W transmission line numbers). Ruling span length is 275 meters and width is 76 meters. The total area to be bladed is approximately 1,964,600 m3 or 197 hectares. Brush is to be left in windrows with a minimum of 3m from existing bush line and a maximum of 10cm high stump. ITEM 2: Hand Cutting Brush must be hand cut 5 meters around every structure and every guy wire so machines may stay away to a safe distance. Brush must also be hand cut in inaccessible areas where the machines cannot get to or near waterways. Brush will be cut with saws and felled to the ground to be left at a height no higher than10 cm. ITEM 3: Create Winter Road as Bypass Trails Create winter road on existing bypass trails indicated by the white dotted lines as well as along the transmission line right of way between the dotted lines on the Appendix 1 map. The winter road is only required up to Sailing Lake which is approximately structure 215 on K22W.There may be a requirement to widen access trails especially on corners where winter road is indicated to allow for semi tractor and trailer with 85' poles on it. Approximately 40kms of access/bypass trails to open, to be able to access the right of way. ITEM 4: Mobilization and Demobilization.
