Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Contractors must be properly licensed at time of bid as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. The End of Question Period is 5:00 pm, December 14, 2022. Compliance with the City of Winston-Salem's M/WBE program is required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders contained in the specifications. The M/WBE subcontracting goals for this project are 5% MBE, 5% WBE and must be met separately. The low bidder who fails to meet said goals must submit Affidavit 'D' and their full Good Faith Effort documentation within 24 hours. Likewise, an Affidavit 'C' is required of the apparent low bidder who meets the M/WBE goals. The scope of work is to completely rebuild three (3) tennis courts for pickleball at one location using the Full Depth Reclamation method, and to resurface/repaint three (3) tennis courts for pickleball at a second location. Project award is anticipated on January 17 with start of construction between March 1 and 20, 2023. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The range for this project is between $300,000 and $400,000.
