Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
North Carolina General Statute (N.C.G.S.) 143-132(a) requires a minimum of three competitive bids be received for formal construction and repair contracts. Three bids were not received on January 13, 2023. Should fewer than the required three bids be offered for formal projects advertised as N.C.G.S. 143-129 requires, the project may be re-advertised. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any or all proposals. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. The scope of work is reconstruction of four sets of tennis courts by the full depth reclamation process, then painting of courts and set tennis nets. The four locations may be awarded individually. All work will be in accordance with the plans and specifications, which are available electronically by contacting Darren Redfield by email at darrenmr@cityofws.org.
