This Request for Proposal is issued to invite qualified Consultants to submit proposals to provide full service professional Construction Management and Inspection Services for the construction of the City of Poway's Clearwell Replacement Project. The Clearwell Replacement Project includes two (2) identical 4 MG aboveground circular prestressed concrete tanks for potable water storage, piping, associated appurtenances, site grading, access road, electrical power, instrumentation, demolition/removal of existing facilities, site security, restoration of softball field (after removal of the temporary bolted steel tanks), coordination with City for closures and shutdowns, and all incidental work as required by the construction drawings and specifications. PROJECT SUMMARY: The Clearwell Replacement Project (project, Project) is located at 14415 Lake Poway Road, Poway, CA 92064. The project site is situated within the Lester J. Berglund Water Treatment Plant (Plant), City of Poway Public Works Operations Yard parking lot west of Plant, and softball field in Lake Poway Park east of Plant. The Work includes new Clearwell Facility with two identical 4 MG aboveground circular prestressed concrete tanks for potable water storage, piping, associated appurtenances, site grading, access road, electrical power, instrumentation, demolition/removal of existing facilities, site security, restoration of softball field, coordination with City for shutdowns, and all incidental work as required by the construction drawings and specifications for a complete and operable project.
