Renovation of a water / sewer project in Florida, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a wastewater treatment plant.

General Contract: $700,000 Electrical Contract: $20,000 to $30,000 The following is a brief description of the bid items. This is not all inclusive. Check the plans and specifications for the complete scope of each item. This supplements the specifications. The Village of Florida WWTP Disinfection General Project consists of the following items: 1.Coordination with the Village of Florida WWTP Operator and/or his designate. 2.Remove and dispose of the grated metal walkway and mechanical aerator from the chlorine contact tank, as shown on the plans. 3.Excavate to replace two gate valves on the chlorine contact bypass line, as shown on the plans. 4.Construct a concrete channel within the chlorine contact tank as shown on the plans. 5.Furnish and install two UV modules, a Ballast Control Center, a System Control Center, an Automatic Cleaning System Center, a finger weir and a level sensor. 6.Furnish and install a chemical injection system and chemical storage room. 7.Furnish and install a pavilion. 8.Furnish and install a handrail. 9.Coordinate with the Electrical Contractor for power connections. General Contractor to perform all system interconnection wiring and connections. 10.The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, utilities and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as specified in the Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. 11.This project is funded with New York State Financial Assistance and is subject to MWBE and SDVOB goals and additional required documentation.
