As of May 20, 2024, per owner, the project is currently in design. They do not currently have a schedule for construction. A design team has been identified. The Village of Northbrook is planning to replace its Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the Village of Northbrook Water Production System, and is requesting proposals for professional services to inventory, design, and oversee the installation of the SCADA Project as described in the Request for Qualifications/Proposal. The Village of Northbrook (Village) is planning to replace its Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the Village of Northbrook Water Production System (SCADA Project) and is requesting proposals (Proposal) for professional services to inventory, design, and oversee the installation of the SCADA Project (Consultant Services) as described below in this Request for Qualifications/Proposal (RFQ/P). Responders must be able to demonstrate previous experience in designing and overseeing the installation of SCADA systems for local suburban communities, with a preference for experience in working with communities that own and operate their own water production facilities. The submitted Proposal should include the firms qualifications, project team, resumes, detailed scope of services/tasks, schedule, man hour estimate, and not to exceed costs for completing the Consultant Services specified herein. Proposals are to be submitted to the Village of Northbrook by the Proposal Due Time/Date set forth below. Up to seven business days prior to Proposal Due Time/Date Village will entertain questions and requests for information. Village shall use its best efforts to issue Addenda or Supplemental Information Notices in response to all valid, appropriate and timely inquiries, but accepts no responsibility for doing so. Inquiries not answered by Addenda or Supplemental Information Notice shall be considered invalid, inappropriate and/or untimely inquiries. Responses will be in writing via email to all potential Respondents who have requested such and/or who have attended a Pre-Proposal Work Site Inspection, and will be posted on the Villages website. The Villages team shall be made up of representatives of the Information Technology Department and the Public Works Department. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
