The City of Union City is accepting bids for the construction of a non-insulated 60x120x12 post framed enclosed metal building, 4/12 roof pitch, wood truss on 2 foot spacing, (2) 36" wide aluminum frame windowless walk-in door, (2) 12x10 white non-insulated garage doors, finished 4-inch concrete slab, finished electrical. Results of all bids will be delivered to the City Council at the Council meeting scheduled for December 20th, 2022 at 5:30 P.M. All bids will be received and ultimately awarded to the bidder with the most applicable bid provided that the City shall have the power to reject any and all bids for any reason deemed necessary by the City. All construction is to be completed no later March 31, 2023. Closing bid declaration: All bids are to be in accordance with the above specifications. A certificate of liability insurance must be presented with the bid in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 limit for each occurrence with workers compensation and employer's liability. Upon award of contract, a payment and performance bond in the amount of 100% of bid shall be submitted to the City as specified by T.C.A. 12-4-201.
