As of January 4, 2023, This project has not yet been awarded. The Project is expected to be awarded on January 23, 2023. Project involves constructing approximately 1,400 L.F. of 12-inch diameter water main along Main Street and approximately 1,350 L.F. of 8-inch diameter water main along Freistadt Road, water main valves, hydrant assemblies and leads, water service laterals, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, asphalt and concrete pavement, pavement marking, erosion control traffic control and restoration. Water main is installed via open cut, jack and bore, and direction drilling methods, including a steel casing jack and bore under railroad. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Thiensville at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Thiensville equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Thiensville as liquidated damages.
