Remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in Castalia, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the remodel of a educational facility.

Townsend Community School ( School ) is requesting proposals from qualified Architecture or Engineering Firms to work with the School to provide preliminary design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration from A/E Contract award through construction contract closeout, including record documents ( Project ). It is the intent of the School to open up this request for proposals ( RFP ) for the Project to any firm that meets the qualifications outlined in the minimum qualifications section of the Specifications. Services that have been omitted from this RFP, which are clearly necessary for the completion of all work, shall be considered a requirement although not directly specified or called for in this proposal. The Project includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Removal of glass walls and doors and installation of bullet resistant wall and door systems on first and second floors. b. reconfigure office and closet space to create classroom modules space on first and second floors. The RFP and its requirements will become binding on the Offeror awarded a contract, unless Offeror takes formal exception to an item or items, as directed in the section, Proposal Requirements.
