Agreement to commence January 16, 2023 Contractor shall perform, on an as needed basis, time and material basis, the following electrical services to include but not limited to: Installing conduits of all types, pulling wires, installing new lighting, power panels, lighting devices, receptacles, switches, repairs, etc., using all types of wiring devices. Installing power sources, if required. Minor electrical repairs, renovations, and construction projects. Emergency repair. The Contractor shall be licensed by the appropriate State and/or local regulatory agency. The Contractor shall secure and pay for all permits, fees, and licenses necessary for the proper execution and completion of the work. The Contractor shall observe and comply with all federal, state, county, and city laws, codes, ordinances, rules, and regulations in accomplishing the work. All materials and installation shall conform to the State and local codes, National Electrical Code, OSHA, and this specification. The Contractor shall provide and maintain all necessary safety cones and barriers at the job site during the execution of work to alert building occupants of potential hazards. Upon completion of the work, Contractor(s) shall clean up the area where the work was performed, and Contractor shall remove any debris generated by the repairs from District premises. At no time will Contractor discard debris into any District refuse container. The District shall retain salvage rights on any replaced equipment. However, if the replaced equipment is of no value to the District, it will be the responsibility of the Contractor to dispose of the equipment. Contractor shall be responsible for the conduct and performance of the Contractor's employees. Contractor and Contractor's employees shall have badges or uniforms that visibly always identify them as employees of Contractor when on District property. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing the appropriate types and skill levels of personnel, which is considered customary in the industry, required to accomplish the work. The Contractor must have Journeymen and Master Electricians on staff. Contractor shall perform criminal history checks and drug screening tests on all prospective employees performing work under this contract. Prospective employees whose criminal history check discloses a misdemeanor or felony involving moral turpitude, sexual offenses, or harm to persons or property will not be employed to perform work under this contract. Contractor is required to perform drug screening of all employees and to ensure acceptable test results. Criminal history and drug screening checks will be completed at the sole expense of the Contractor. Contractor shall commence and end all services on the same day unless otherwise agree to by the District. Additional work required after the initial move shall be authorized by the District Representative prior to work being done. A quote will be provided by the Contractor for the additional work. Contractor's Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project management for the electrical service and punch list, if required. The Contractor may have to schedule work in cooperation with other contractors working on- site at District facilities. The Contractor will collaborate with the District regarding completing their work while accommodating these activities.
