As of March 8, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Nassau County Department of Public Works intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for construction management services in connection with the following: Construction Management Services NCPD Center for Training and Intelligence Phase 2 Training Village The Department of Public Works desires to retain a Firm to provide Construction Management Services in connection with Phase II of the NCPD Center for Training and Intelligenceconsisting of a new a new outdoor training complex built to mimic any typical Long Island community. The new outdoor training complex will consist of 10 individual structures (3dwelling types, a house of worship, school, train station, gas station, precinct house, bank, restaurant) and associated site improvements including paving, grading, drainage, lighting, and landscaping at the existing academy facility, 1 Law Enforcement Way, Garden City, NY. The Nassau County Bid Solicitation Boards are open to allregistered vendors. Vendors that have not registered are able to view open solicitation opportunities, but they are not able to download solicitation documents or submit bids or proposals. Proposals should only be submitted after careful examination of the complete RFP and its requirements. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professionalliability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. The successful Proposer will be required to comply with the requirements of Local Law No. 14- 2002, "Participation by Minority Group Members and Women in Nassau County Contracts" and Local Law 2-2016, "Participation of Service-Disabled Veterans in County Contracts". All Proposers should review the provisions of Appendix EE (included as an attachment to the RFP) which outlines the requirements of Local Law 14-2002. Technical proposals shall include information regarding the Proposers plan to comply with Local Law No. 14-2002.
