Renovation of a museum in New London, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The Lyman Allyn Art Museum is issuing a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) for a Construction Manager Firm for the purpose of managing the Procurement and Construction Phases of the Lyman Allyn Park Renovation Project (the 12-acre property surrounding the Museum and Deshon-Allyn House). It is anticipated this work will involve two (2) seasonal cycles (winter/spring/summer/fall of 2023 and 2024). In order to be considered, the Firm shall submit a qualification package and will be evaluated and selected based on construction management competency, the capacity and capability to perform the work, past record of performance, and knowledge of Federal, State and City requirements and procedures. The Museum Facilities Committee will evaluate all Statements and develop a short-list of the three or four best qualified Firms. Interviews will be scheduled for the short-listed Firms and a recommendation made to the Museum Executive Committee for final selection.
