The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all design, labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements generally described as follows: Project includes designing and installing a PVC pool liner and new gutter system at the Scott County Park Pool located at 18850 270th St, Eldridge, IA 52748. All bids shall be made on a contractor's preferred form and delivered to the Scott County Conservation Board, on or before the time specified above. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond, a cashier's or certified check drawn on an Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price guaranteeing faithful performance of the contract and guaranteeing payment to all persons supplying labor and/or materials in the execution of the work provided for in the contract. construction of the proposed work and award the contract to the lowest responsive responsible bidder or set such subsequent time and place, as determined by the board, for acting upon the bids and entering into a contract for the work. The Scott County Conservation Board reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the bid opening. Before final payment will be made, the contractor shall file, in duplicate, with the Scott County Conservation Board, an itemized statement showing the amount of Iowa sales tax, or use tax, if any, and to whom paid, on all materials which have become part of this contract.
