The scope of work consists of installing approximately 650 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe water line and approximately 360 linear feet of 2-inch PEXa water line along Tuxedo Court. This is a Section 3 Covered Project under the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Act of 1968 and Section 3 Residents, and Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. Section 3 preferences and compliance will be discussed in detail at the pre-bid conference. Each Bidder must provide with his Bid, a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of their bid amount and shall be subject to the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of Bid opening. Bidder pricing must be firm for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the Bid opening.
