ILDOT - 134 - Resurfacing, Sidewalks, Curb and Guttr, Segmantal Block Wall, Signing and Pavement Markings LOCATION OF PROJECT The project is located on three (3) streets within Dixon, Illinois with project limits as follows: 1) Galena Ave (IL 26) from Division Street to 10th Avenue. 2) Division Street from Galena Avenue (IL 26) to Fargo Avenue. 3) Fargo Avenue from Division Street to Chicago Avenue (US 52). 4) Various Improvements along Galena Avenue (i.e. signage, striping) south of Division Street to Maple Street. 5) Various improvements along Ottawa Avenue, Hemlock Avenue, Chestnut Avenue, Walnut Avenue, Elm Place, and Spruce Street at locations indicated on the plans. The proposed improvements are to include: 1) Curb and gutter, driveway replacement, pavement patching, signage and pavement markings along Galena Avenue (IL 26). 2) Full depth reclamation and HMA milling along Division and Fargo. Resurfacing with HMA paving, curb and gutter and sidewalk replacements, thermoplastic striping, driveway removal and replacement, areas of base repair, manhole, inlet and valve box adjustments/replacements, and other street improvements. 3) Sidewalk and pavement patching along Hemlock Avenue, Chestnut Avenue, Walnut Avenue. Curb and gutter and retaining walls along Ottawa Avenue. Elm and Spruce Street include pavement resurfacing, new curb and gutter/sidewalk improvements limited to close proximity to intersection with Division/Fargo, respectively.
