Project Location: One Mendon Road, Cumberland, Rhode Island 02864 Work of this Contract comprises in general the total removal of the existing domestic water heating system. The general scope of work shall include (but is not limited to) the contractor to furnish and install a new domestic water heating system including heaters, pumps, tanks, valves, piping and insulation required to provide a complete updated domestic water heating system. In addition there will be a new concrete pad installed and exterior insulated panel. Additional information is included on the drawings and within the specifications. The Contractor agrees to attempt to expend at least 10 percent of the dollar value of the contract to Minority Business Enterprises or Women Business Enterprises Cumberland Housing Authority, 573 Mendon Road, Cumberland, Rhode Island 02864 hereinafter called the "OWNER" or "PHA" will receive sealed bids for "Water Heater Replacement at Cumberland Manor", Cumberland Manor, One Mendon Road, Cumberland, Rhode Island. Bidders are invited to submit separate sealed BIDS to the PHA per Instructions to Bidders and Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price and a Labor and Material Bond of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price with a satisfactory surety company will be required of the successful Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any technicalities or informalities in the bidding and to accept the proposal deemed most favorable to their interest.
